Toronto Equestrian Downtown accepts payment by eTransfer, debit, or credit card. Please note that there is a surcharge applied to payments made by debit or credit card.

Your payment is a reservation of your ride time. Payment must be made at the time of booking lessons in order to to reserve your ride time.

Late fees are charged to accounts in arrears as follows:

• A $50 late fee for accounts more than 15 days in arrears

• A $100 late fee for accounts more than 30 days in arrears

• A $25 administration fee for the application of these late fees

• Accounts more than 30 days in arrears will result in the forfeit of the lesson spot.

At Toronto Equestrian Downtown, the cost per lesson when booked in a block of four is $175+HST (private), $135+HST (semi-private) and $100+HST (group).

Private lessons may be booked individually for $250+HST, and are subject to availability.

Semi-private lessons are booked based on the availability of two similarly skilled riders, and are subject to availability. 

Lessons booked in a block of four must be taken in four consecutive weeks with payment for subsequent blocks of lessons due on the last day of the previous block.

All lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Toronto Equestrian Downtown will offer a makeup lesson for lessons cancelled with 48-hours notice or more in writing.  Lessons cancelled with less than 48-hours notice are forfeit.

• Makeup lessons must be taken within 30 days of the lesson cancellation date, and are subject to availability.

• All makeup lessons are scheduled at a time other than the regularly scheduled ride time. Toronto Equestrian Downtown does not extend blocks of lessons to accommodate makeup lessons.

• Riders must be a current rider in the program to book makeup lessons. This means riders cannot pause or discontinue their membership, and continue to use makeup lessons in lieu. 

• Unless previously agreed upon in writing with the office, all makeup lessons not taken when a rider retires from the program are forfeit.

• Makeup lessons that are cancelled are forfeit, regardless of notice.

Severe Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather conditions (freezing rain, heavy snow, thunderstorms, etc, Toronto Equestrian Downtown reserves the right to offer stable management lessons in lieu of riding lessons, or to offer a makeup lesson for the cancellation.
